Mia Hayward

Mia is a passionate physiotherapist from Tauranga, New Zealand, who graduated from Auckland University with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy.

Mia enjoys helping people to recover from injury, manage pain, and improve their mobility through a variety of treatment modalities including manual therapy, exercise rehabilitation and Pilates. Mia feels strongly about providing holistic approach to her treatment sessions and valuing the importance of a wide range of patient factors. This is particularly reflected in her collaborative approach to sessions.

Having grown up with a strong appreciation for sports and the outdoors, she is inspired to help others to engage in the movement that is most meaningful to them. She is dedicated to ensuring that her patients feel listened to and empowered in their rebab journey and that ultimately she can provide them with long lasting benefits and self-management strategies to ensure lasting health outcomes.

Outside of work, Mia enjoys staying active in the outdoors, spending time with family and friends and is an especially enthusiastic runner. Her love for the beach and the sun is ultimately what encouraged her relocation to Hervey bay and she is looking forward to making the most of the local scenery, tropical climate and coastal community.

Mia is excited to join Sports and Spinal Physiotherapy in Hervey Bay and looks forward to helping the Hervey Bay community achieve their health and fitness goals in a friendly, supportive environment.
