Kate Reardon

Kate is a dedicated and experienced physiotherapist with a passion for helping patients achieve their optimal physical health and performance. With a special interest in sports injuries and acute musculoskeletal injuries, she brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the Coolum team.

Kate grew up in outback Queensland, before moving to Brisbane to complete a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2013. She spent the formative years of her career working in private practice settings at the Sunshine Coast and London, leading her to develop a special interest in acute musculoskeletal injuries. Upon return to Australia, Kate pursued work in more specialised sports settings, ultimately practicing in Sydney’s largest sports medicine clinic. Kate then spent several winter seasons working as a snow sports physiotherapist in NSW’s Snowy Mountains.

Kate has a particular interest in acute knee injuries and shoulder pathologies, and is passionate about providing quality care for athletes and active individuals.

Outside the clinic, Kate can be found enjoying the great outdoors – playing community sports or hiking in the mountains during warmer months; and snowboarding in winter. Her first hand experience with sports gives her a unique insight into the challenges faced by her patients, allowing her to provide a holistic journey to recovery and peak physical performance.

Kate is available for physiotherapy consults at Coolum Sports & Spinal.
