Marley Baker

Marley graduated from Griffith University, Gold Coast, with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy, before moving to Brisbane and joining the Sports and Spinal team. Her enthusiasm for physiotherapy grew from competing in various sports growing up and understanding first-hand the physiotherapist’s important role in injury prevention, performance, and rehabilitation.

She has experience in treating a wide range of conditions, including neck and back pain, sporting injuries, orthopaedic rehabilitation and acute and chronic pain of upper and lower limbs.

Her interest lies in empowering patients from all walks of life to live a balanced, healthy lifestyle. She strongly believes in working with her patients to create an individualized, holistic plan to achieve their goals and optimise their potential. Marley has completed post-graduate training in Women’s and Pelvic Health Physiotherapy, and is deeply passionate about treating women with concerns such as pelvic organ prolapse, bladder and bowel dysfunctions, pelvic pain and all things pregnancy and postnatal including pelvic girdle pain, diastasis recti and return to exercise.

Marley runs clinical and women’s health pilates classes to facilitate women gaining confidence and strength to return to a movement they love. She believes that women of all ages should feel and move their best, and utilises the latest evidence-based treatments to achieve this.

As she practices what she preaches with a healthy, balanced life, you’ll find Marley at the gym, in a pilates class or sipping on a very sweet coffee.

Marley is available for physiotherapy and women’s health appointments at our North Lakes clinic.
